47 English clubs have been examined to see how certain financial measures can explain clubs’ average league positions over the ten-year period 2010/11 to 2019/20.
The approach draws inspiration from Simon Kuper and Stefan Szymanski's book, Soccernomics, in which a similar analysis was conducted for the years 2003 to 2012.
