Bury face a race against time as they seek to avoid becoming the first team in 27 years to face expulsion from the Football League.

So far the EFL has suspended their fifth consecutive game after the club failed to meet yet another deadline to provide details of sufficient funds to see out the season.

A deadline has been placed for tomorrow for withdrawal of league membership – a sanction not meted out since Maidstone United were liquidated in March 1992.
