Allianz Stadium vs Groupama

PA Images | Serie A champions Juventus are looking to overturn a first-leg deficit as they welcome Lyon to the Allianz Stadium in the Champions League. The visitors have had a long break following the curtailment of the French league due to the coronavirus outbreak.

In this edition of Stadium of the Week we move to the Champions League and Juventus v Lyon, whose stadiums rank 35th and 18th respectively in the Overall VPR ranking.

Both stadiums opened within the last 10 years and share many of the modern bowl design philosophies popular at the time. As a result they achieve similar spectator densities and internal experience scores.
