UEFA could scrap next season's Champions League and Europa League qualifiers, according to the Times, as it seeks to limit matches to reduce the possible strain on local infrastructure already impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Having already pushed back the starting date of next season's Champions League to 20th October, there is uncertainty over whether qualification matches can be played out as several countries including France and the Netherlands have banned sporting events until September.
