Valencia sue Spanish Football Federation over uneven Super Cup distribution
The club have filed a claim for damages against the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) over what they claim is unequal prize money distribution of this year's Spanish Super Cup held in Saudi Arabia in January. Real Madrid, who won the tournament, earned €12 million, Barcelona €6.8 million and Valencia (whom Real Madrid beat in the semi-finals) just €2.5 million.
