Liverpool take on Inter Milan in the second leg of the Round of 16 in the Champions League 2021/22, with the Reds leading 2-0 on aggregate after an impressive away win almost three weeks ago.

Last week Liverpool posted the financial accounts of 2020/21, revealing a loss of just €10.7 million, which is nothing compared to Inter's €245 million deficit.

Despite Inter winning its first Serie A since 2009/10, Liverpool still earned €110 million more in broadcasting proceeds at €300 million in total.

The big contrasts in turnover does not reflect in the books, as Inter had higher player amortisation of €137 million compared to Liverpool's €121 million, though the Reds' book value of the players was €45 million higher.
