Many years ago, Hummel was the kit sponsor for giants like Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, Feyenoord, and Aston Villa. Now, the sports brand wants to re-establish its position amongst the best.

Chief brand officer at Hummel, Filip Trulsson, explains how the Danish brand partnered with Everton to support mutual ambitions and grow revenues on a global scale.

From Hummels point of view the Everton-deal should has already attracted interest from other club teams in European top leagues.

Hummel see a clear fit with Everton whom they believe have laid the bricks for breaking into the Top 6 in Premier League. On pitch progress and success will be vital for this partnership.

The brand has been there before.

Although it was many years ago, Danish sports brand Hummel used to have a strong position in European football. Just take a look at the Real Madrid team from the late 1980s - who won five titles in a row with players like the cool-headed Emilio Butragueño, the intelligent midfielder Míchel, and the flamboyant Mexican striker Hugo Sánchez.
