Anything but a win for Tottenham is unacceptable if they want a real chance of securing Champions League football next season, as the race for the extraordinarily entry-giving fifth place resumes.

Manchester United enter the clash on a ten-match unbeaten run while Tottenham have failed to win in six, but form is unlikely to count for much on the back of more than three months suspension of play.

Despite not being far off each other in the league table, United's wage bill of £332.4 million almost double Tottenham's of £178.6 million.
