Financial head-to-head Real Madrid v Inter Milan

PA Images | It's the first time these two giants meet in a major European tournament since 1998. In recent years Inter Milan visited Real Madrid in a friendly in 2013 and in 2015 they played each other in Champions Cup in China.

Real Madrid's turnover at €757.3 million in the 2018/19 season stood at more than double that of Inter Milan's which reached just €369.8 million.

Whilst much separated the clubs in terms of revenue, both recorded a similar operating loss at €44.3 million and €50.6 million, respectively.

When looking at wages, Real Madrid also come out on top with total spending of €394.2 million compared to Inter Milan's €192.6 million.
