Financial head-to-head Liverpool v Manchester United

It's been some time since Liverpool and Manchester United last battled head-to-head for the Premier League's top spot.

Manchester United's turnover in 2018/19 bested Liverpool's at £627.1 million to £533 million, but it fell below that to £509 million last season with the Merseyside club yet to publish their accounts.

Meanwhile, Liverpool had the better pre-tax profit in 18/19 of £41.9 million to Manchester United's £27.5 million.
