Financial head-to-head Liverpool FC v FC Midtjylland

Klopp

PA Images | Jürgen Klopp's squad earn more than 28 times that of Danish side FC Midtjylland's.

Following a 0-4 loss at home on their Champions League debut, Danish Midtjylland – whose majority shareholder is Brentford owner Matthew Benham – face another tough task going up against the reigning English champions from Liverpool.

Liverpool's wage bill of €352 million in the 2018/19 season was a full 28 times that of Midtjylland's which in comparison stood at just €12.6 million in the same year.

With a turnover of an even greater disproportion, at 42 times that of Midtjylland, Liverpool will be unsatisfied with anything less than three points from Tuesday night's fixture.
