FC Porto made an operating loss of €96.6 million last season, while Juventus' reached €233.6 million.

While Juventus were able to offset most of that with a profit on player sales of €166.5 million, Porto's profit of just €600,000 meant very little.

Accordingly, Juventus recorded a pre-tax loss of €81.7 million while Porto's loss reached €115.6 million.
