It is time for another Revierderby in Germany.

It's been a miserable start to the season for Schalke who have one point after four matches and last month parted ways with head coach David Wagner. But in the last ten corresponding fixtures, of which five ended in draws, Dortmund have just one more win.

Dortmund's wage bill almost doubles Schalke's at €215.2 million last season compared their €123.8 million (18/19).

Schalke's EBITDA has been greater than Dortmund's in all of the past four years (discounting last season), coming in at €52.6 million compared to their €33.1 million in 2018/19.
