The Italians in 2019/20 spent €155.1 million on wages while Ajax spent just €92.4 million.

EBITDA, meanwhile, stood at €8.3 million for Ajax and a negative €83.8 million for AS Roma – with turnover for the Dutch club exceeding AS Roma's by €21.1 million at €162.3 million.
