Everton appoint contractor for £500 million waterfront stadium

PA Images | The Liverpool club revealed their plans for a new £500 million stadium last year and it is expected to be ready for the 2023/24 season.

The club have appointed the multinational construction company Laing O'Rourke to deliver their proposed 52,000-seat stadium.

Subject to local city council approval, work on the new £500 million waterfront stadium is expected to begin later this year, with the build expected to take three years.
