Motion filed in Madrid Court last week by A22, the company behind the Super League, aims to quash UEFA punishments and ongoing disciplinary process.
English “Big Six”, plus the Milan clubs and Atletico Madrid have walked away from the Super League but remain A22 shareholders.
Off The Pitch contacted the English “Big Six”, but none would denounce the court action. They remain very clear though that they are withdrawing from the ESL.
Expert acknowledged that the English clubs may face challenges extricating itself from A22.
