Analysis: Why owners pulling out of PSG could be more than just a rumour

The owners from Qatar have invested more than €1 billion since takeover in 2011 with Neymar and Mbappé arriving in the past seasons for a combined €402 million.
PSG (today sixth in the Deloitte Football Money League with revenue of €547 million in 2018) have failed to live up to lofty ambitions despite winning six French titles in seven years.

What was supposed to be a festive evening in a relaxed atmosphere with football stars, celebrities and megastars enjoying each other´s company turned into a sour note for the PSG organisation on Sunday night, 19th May, when Kylian Mbappé, while accepting his Ligue 1 Player of the Year award, dropped a hint that he could be leaving the Parisian Champions League contenders unless he is handed more responsibility in the season to come.
