Media: Qatari investment group in "real discussions" with Leeds United
7 November 2019
A source at Qatari Sports Investment is quoted by L'Équipe as saying that "there are real discussions" between the group and Leeds United over a possible investment.
The group, which also owns PSG, sees Leeds United as "an opportunity," the source says.
Leeds United's owner, Andrea Radrizzani, cannot get rid of the persistent rumours of a possible new investor joining him at Leeds, despite his best efforts to do so, with new reports coming in from France.
According to the French newspaper L'Équipe, the talks between Radrizzani and Qatari Sports Investment (QSI) - the owner of Paris-Saint Germain - are ongoing, with a QSI source quoted by L'Équipe as saying that "there are real discussions, but it's advancing slowly."
