Potential Bundesliga restart to be decided on 6th May meeting

German chancellor Angela Merkel is set to meet with the country's 16 federal state prime ministers to discuss the gradual reopening of sports, among other things.
The Bundesliga on Thursday started testing players for coronavirus.
German chancellor Angela Merkel will meet with the country's 16 federal state prime ministers on 6th May to discuss the gradual reopening of sports, according to German publication Sportschau, including the potential resumption of the Bundesliga.
It was earlier reported the Bundesliga could reconvene on 9th May, before that was changed to 16th May. Nonetheless, the first and second division on Thursday started testing its players for Covid-19.
