Millwall owner provides club with capital

Photo: Getty Images Millwall's owner has previously approved several cash injections into the club in order to service the club's losses and the club finally made a profit in the 2018/19 season of £300,000.

Millwall Holdings, the club's parent company, owned by John Berylson, has injected £6.8 million into Millwall FC via a share issue, a filing at Companies House reveals.

However, it is not clear whether it is a cash injection or conversion of debt.

Millwall's owner, John Berylson, has approved a £6.8 million capital injection into the club via a share issue, a filing at Companies House reveals. 

Millwall Holdings, the club's parent company, has allotted 6,800,000 shares valued at £1 each, the filing shows, with 100 per cent of the value being paid at the time of issue.

It is not clear whether it is a cash injection or conversion of debt.
