Lyon to acquire €93 million state-guaranteed loan

The French club have received approval from their bank and bond lenders to implement the loan with a maturity of 12 months.
In addition, Lyon have received €12.9 million in exceptional assistance from the French Football League.
Lyon have received approval from their bank and bond lenders to implement a €92.6 million state-guaranteed loan with a maturity of 12 months.
The French club earlier this year said they expected to lose out on a total of €50 million this season due to the coronavirus pandemic and through the French Football League's (LFP) decision to cancel the season finished seventh.
