Liverpool FC have confirmed that their commercial director, Olly Dale, has decided to leave the club after eight years.
Dale, who joined Liverpool from Fenway Sports Management, the marketing arm of Fenway Sports Group, has played a "pivotal role" in helping to turn around the club’s commercial and partnership business, according to the club.

"Olly has been an invaluable leader of the club for the past eight years and we will be sorry to see him go," said the club’s managing director and chief commercial officer, Billy Hogan, in a statement.
