Head-to-head financials Barcelona v Liverpool

Barca v Liverpool

Getty Images | Last time Liverpool and Barcelona met were in the International Champions Cup in London in 2016. Liverpool won 4-0.

Having already won La Liga, Barcelona are welcoming Liverpool to Camp Nou, where they are unbeaten in their last 31 home games in the Champions League – a Champions League record.

But the Spanish champions have never won against Liverpool at their 99,000-seater stadium.

Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool have had an amazing season as they are still fighting for the Premier League title, just as they’ve cruised their way through to the Champions League semifinal.

So far Liverpool have only met financially-inferior teams in the knock-out stages, with the semifinal marking new territory for The Reds as financially, Barcelona is a far bigger club.
