Sevilla minority owners 777 Partners last week acquired Serie A club Genoa – now they seek an English club.

Despite difficulties with Sevilla president, the group has an “excellent relationship” with Sevilla’s sporting director Monchi and conversations have been held about cooperation between the Spanish and Italian clubs.

Florida based group also has sports streaming companies and a rights management agency in its portfolio.

The new owners of Serie A club Genoa have said they are targeting an English club to add to their ownership group, which also currently includes a minority shareholding in Sevilla.

Any such deal would create an unprecedented ownership alliance across three of Europe’s “Big 5” leagues.

Florida based 777 Partners completed a takeover of Genoa last week in a deal reported locally to be worth €150 million.
