Real Betis' players, coaching staff and executives have committed to a 15 per cent salary reduction, in case the season is permanently suspended, to outweigh the financial impact of the coronavirus crisis. 

A series of clubs have already implemented similar cost-cutting strategies in order to offset the economic fallout of the coronavirus situation. In Spain, the number of cases has been growing rapidly and LaLiga has been postponed indefinitely.
