If Bristol City can keep the momentum going from their previous seasons, the club will ultimately be playing in the Premier League, according to CEO Mark Ashton.

In an interview with the Bristol Post, Ashton stresses the importance of moving forward in football, otherwise "you will 100 per cent go backwards."

If Bristol City keep progressing the way they have over the past couple of years, the club's supporters can look forward to Premier League football at Ashton Gate Stadium in the future - at least according to the club's CEO, Mark Ashton.

"If we keep progressing the way we are, ultimately we'll be promoted, but I can't tell you when," he said in an interview with the Bristol Post, adding that unforeseeable obstacles, such as injuries and plain old bad luck in games, are among the reasons why he can't put a date on when the club will achieve promotion.
