Barcelona secure 30-year Goldman Sachs financing for €815 million Camp Nou redevelopment

The estimated interest rate of the financing plan would be 3-4 per cent annually.
Goldman Sachs will also be paid around €43 million a year as part of the rights to the future incremental revenue the project is expected to generate.
Barcelona expect the project to result in an annual revenue increase of €128 million.
Barcelona have secured financing for their €815 Camp Nou redevelopment project titled Espai Barca through a 30-year plan with global investment bank Goldman Sachs.
The payment period of 25 years is set to start from the 2024/25 season when the project is completed. The cost of the plan is divided as such: €725 million for investment and to pay for the work and €90 million for capitalizable interest over the five years of work plus the initial financial costs.
