Owner helps Rotherham again: Raises sponsorship by £2 million

Income has fallen by 24 per cent for Rotherham United. Thanks to a sponsorship from the chairman’s company, the club’s pre-tax loss halved from the year before.

Falling revenue as a result of Rotherham United’s relegation to League One in the 2017/2018 campaign meant the club’s chairman and owner Tony Stewart had to put his hand in his pocket to keep the club financially stable after losing almost £5 million in TV money.
