Manchester City announce new Baijiu partner, as club boost presence in China

Manchester City have announced a global multi-year partnership with Chinese liquor manufacturer JNC. 

The City Football Group is increasing its presence in all of Asia, but China seems to be its number one priority.

Manchester City and JNC, a leading liquor manufacturer in China, have both put their signatures to a multi-year partnership making JNC the club’s official Baijiu partner, Manchester City write on their website. Baijiu might not ring a bell for many Europeans, but with 10.8 billion litres sold in 2017, it is the world’s most consumed spirit due to its popularity in China, with its population of 1.4 billion.
