LaLiga chief ridicules “Super League of Power Points”

LaLiga CEO Javier Tebas says that not even all the money in global football TV rights could pay for what Super League clubs were promised and that its finances are a “lie”.

Tebas plays down calls to punish Spanish clubs involved in the breakaway.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are posed with a dilemma with UEFA licensing deadline looming for 2021/22.

LaLiga CEO, Javier Tebas, has ridiculed the Super League, saying it is based on nothing more than “lies” and “PowerPoint presentations” and that not even “all the money in world football TV rights” would pay for the projected figures.

Tebas nevertheless played down calls to punish Spanish clubs involved in the breakaway Super League, saying that the project was dead and calling on Real Madrid and Barcelona to decide what it wanted from international club competition.
