The Premier League has announced that it has referred Leicester City to an independent commission for an alleged breach of its profitability and sustainability rules (PSR) in relation to the three-year period ending 2022/23.

In a statement, the Premier League said Leicester were also being charged “for failing to submit their audited financial accounts to the League.”
