Photo: Getty Images Nottingham Forest has been ordered to immediately pay former owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi £5.2 million after launching a flawed legal case against him.

Nottingham Forest pay out £5.2 to former owner Fawaz al-Hasawi, but club will continue to appeal High Court decision.

"I have not been aggressive towards the Club,” says Fawaz Al-Hasawi.

Additional legal action between Forest and al-Hasawi revealed.

Offthepitch.com exclusively discovered the club was ordered to pay a higher amount than was originally reported, following a case heard in the High Court last month.

It was reported that the club was ordered to pay al-Hasawi £4.1 million, but offthepitch.com has discovered that sum has increased by a further £1.1 million due to court costs and interest payments.
