The Premier League has announced the value of payments of broadcasting to clubs for the 2018/19 season.

Numbers show that Liverpool earned more than Man City despite finishing second in the table.

Liverpool got three more matches broadcasted live this season. So, even though The Reds missed the largest price pool by finishing second in the table, they still beat Man City in the total payment coming from the Premier League.

The three extra matches meant an extra income for Liverpool of about £3.3 million, so, even though Man City got the largest payment for winning the league (£38.3 million), they could still see themselves getting almost £1.5 million less than Liverpool from the Premier League.
